Version 2.0 is here

This Lesson Plan Designer contains state education standards that will appear in a pull-down list, making it easy for the teacher to insert goals or objectives to reach these standards. Besides the education content standards, references are made to various aspects of process skills, subject integration and assessment. Check boxes are available for these sections indicating the various instructional strategies. The key areas listed in this version of the Lesson Plan Designer are: Pennsylvania education standards, unit title or section, major theme or goal, process skills, subject integration, objectives, activities and assessment. The uniqueness of the Lesson Plan Designer is that you make reference to the standards as you develop your own lesson in a design down format. Joseph Zisk, an experienced science teacher, district administrator, university professor has been using Lesson Plan Designer since 1995.  Lesson Plan Designer was developed for science teachers to easily design lesson plans that meet state science education standards.  This program permits teachers to design lesson plans that include state standards in three easy steps. The program permits the addition of new standards and/or it can be modified to use any set of standards (district, state or national), not just Pennsylvania proposed science and technology standards.
